Some of these scores don’t make sense to me. Perhaps someone, or the admin could explain.
For example the MacBook Pro Core i7 2.3 17″ Early 2011 scores 22 while the MacBook Pro Core i7 2.2 15″ Late 2011 scores 163. The Geekbench 4 MC scores are 9749 and 8297 respectively. Clearly something wrong! My MPB 2015 easily beats both machines on Geekbench and managed 80. How did the 13 inch manage a score of 163? Maybe I’m missing something?
Yes, some scores are surely wrong. That’s also why the average counts. However, these outliers have a too big impact on the average score, that’s why we will change the way the mean is calculated, sometimes during this coming summer when we find some time. We will change it to the median instead of the mean, that will eliminate all outliers from the chart!
